To all Alumni, Families, Friends, Parents and Students of St. Thomas More School,
What opposing coaches have labeled the “toughest” gym to win in New England is in need of a facelift. Although the goals are to continue to have visiting teams cringe because of our home court advantage, several areas are in need of updates. From the glory days of the Nick Macarchuk era and his New England Championship teams spearheaded by Ernie Digregorio to our recent National Championship 2011 team led by current NBA players Andre Drummond (Detroit Pistons) and Damion Lee (Golden State) and all players before, during and after, it is time to refurbish our gym. There have been so many athletes and their families who have benefitted from their time spent as members of the Chancellor’s basketball program and school. I have often been asked by alumni and families how they can show their gratitude. Helping with this drive is a perfect opportunity.
Please consider gifting and please consider gifting generously. We have already started the process and we are half-way home. STM has always been a better second half team. For all those who have already contributed, thank you. For all others, please pay it forward to a future alumnus. Looking forward to hearing from you. All the best!
