Opening Day, '11-'12

The original opening day was postponed from Monday, August 29 to Thursday, September 3, 2011. This was due to power outages, downed trees and cancelled flights, etc. caused by Hurricane Irene which churned up the eastern seaboard on Sunday, August 28. Despite all the damage caused by this catastrophic storm, STM was open and ready for our students just a few days later. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by this delay, however the safety of our students is our most important concern.
Opening Day was a very pleasant day with nearly 150 students from China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Nigeria, Guam, The Dominican Republic, Australia, Bahrain, Thailand arriving as well as many students from both the east and west coasts of The United States. STM is looking forward to a very successful year.
