Golf Classic, '11
St. Thomas More School's Eleventh Annual Golf Classic was played on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at the River Ridge Golf Course in Griswold, CT. The perfect weather and great turnout helped make the day a success.
Among those joining STM for the first time were Jamie Anderson, '91, Shaun Tine from Montville Hardware, Bob Sasena from Jostens and current parents Jim Cummings and Tom Whipple, '93.
Alumni in attendance included Alex Casey, '08, Hugh Casey, '97, Jason Bugbee, '01, Nick Conti, '00, Ryan Taranto, '05, Alex Savioli, '03, Tim Riordan, '79, Joe Daly, '66, Al Ambrose, '65, Al Marulli, '65, Mark McAndrew, ‘72 and Jamie Hanrahan, '72.
STM is always grateful to regulars such as Chris Berris, Tom Taranto, Jason Bugbee, Charles Crilly, Matt Carbray, Hugh Casey, Lou Allen, Kathy and Barry Steamer and Chuck Barton and their guests as well.
The foursome of Jamie Hanrahan, Mark Marcy, Tim Ashburner and Butch Watson came in first place. They were closely followed by the Corporate Forms Foursome of Don Schultz, Manny Story, Chris Cazalet and Frank Marrocco and the Buell Securities Foursome of Chuck Berris, James Chinigo, Ian Davison and Paul Tiedemann.
