Golf Classic, '10
On Thursday, June 17, 2010, St. Thomas More School held its 10th Annual Golf Classic at the River Ridge Golf Course in Griswold, CT. A gentle breeze helped create an enjoyable day for everyone.STM was pleased to have so many alumni in attendance. Stephen Truskoski, '63, a post-graduate from the very first graduating class at the school participated for his first time. Joining us from the Class of '65 were Al Ambrose and Al Marulli. Also, in attendance from the Class of '72, were Headmaster James F. Hanrahan, Jr., Board Member Mark McAndrew and Mike Garrity.
Younger alumni included Hugh Casey, ‘97, Nick Conti, '00, Tim Pavidis, '00, Jason Bugbee, Jr., '01, Kiernan Daly, '04, Dave Galvis, '06 and Alex Casey, '08.
The presence of friends such as Brustolon Buick Pontiac GMC, People's Bank, The Nutmeg Companies, S.C.A.D.D., Two Brothers Pizza, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, The Hastings Family and The Taranto Family added much to the success of our outing.
Of course, STM thanks Joe Daly, '66 for his help preparing for this year's classic and also his friends for taking time to join us.
All proceeds of this event go to the St. Thomas More School Chancellors' Fund. We hope to see you all again next year.
