Credits and Course Load Requirements
The curriculum is developed with the goal that all students enter St. Thomas More School to attain college acceptance. In order to achieve that ambition, a student must have a solid background in English literature and composition, mathematics, and a broad exposure to history, foreign language, science, and the arts. Our curriculum, designed around required courses desired by most colleges, enables our students to develop those skills necessary for acceptance and success in college.
The minimum requirements for graduation are 16 credits, which include:
- Four credits in English
- Three credits in Mathematics (Algebra I & II, Geometry)
- One credit in U.S. History
- One credit in a Laboratory Science
- Two credits in the same Foreign Language
- One credit in Theology
- One credit in Fine Arts
- Three credits in electives
