Mr. Gerowitz's Class in Jeopardy?

1/13/2009

On Friday, 9, 2009 Mr. Gerowitz allowed his students to play Jeopardy. He asked his Chancellors to answer questions from five categories including Levi Genes, You're Standing On It, Padded Cells, Mr. Gonzalez (Chemistry) and Potpourri.

He divided the students into three groups. Then he proceeded to pose topics such as "Gradual Process of a Species Dying Off". The students had to answer in the Television Style of "What is Background Extinction?" The boys thoroughly enjoyed the fun and excitement. They also proved that they have learned about Mr. Gerowitz. He asked a bonus question "What can you tell me about myself?". Their answers, "he's from Michigan", "his family lives in Ohio," "he owns a race car," and "he researched mice and wrote a paper about it for his first degree," etc. show they know him well. Also, his students showed that they have learned a great deal from him. Out of a possible score of 7.5 points, the class scored 6.3. Well done!
