Mr. Gerowitz's DNA Project

The students in Mr. Gerowitz's biology classes will be creating a 2D poster or 3D model on DNA. There is both writing and building involved with this project. Resources for writing include textbook, lecture notes, Mr. G., library resources and the internet. Resources for building include tooth picks, gummy bears, poster board and colored pencils. The results will be seen on Friday, February 13, 2009.
History: 3-4 historical facts about DNA and its discovery.
Structure: Draw or build the DNA model. Label each part of the structure and give pairing information.
DNA Replication: Leading and lagging replication fully detailed and explained. 2-3 types of mutations explained.
RNA: What are the 3 types of RNA? What does each do?
WOW Factor: Something above and beyond included.
